An experience at Ali's Acre
Plant-based plates from the garden, served on the veranda.
Our kitchen follows the garden. Whatever is ripe that morning shapes what lands on the table that evening — leafy greens, papaya, coconut, chilli, ginger, lime. Plates are plant-based, generous, and built around the spices Zanzibar is famous for.
Breakfast is a long affair: tropical fruit, fresh bread, coffee and tea on the veranda. Lunch is light — a salad, a curry, something warm. Dinner is the day's centrepiece, eaten slowly by lantern light, often shared between guests at one long table.
Everything we cook is plant-based by default. We're happy to adjust for gluten, allergies and preferences — just let us know in advance and we'll make sure there's something perfect for you.

Soak in a circular pit of mineral-rich bentonite clay, then dry off in the sun on a woven straw bed before your potli massage.

Our family of rabbits live in shaded hutches by the garden. Children (and grown-ups) are welcome to say hello.

Wander through raised beds of herbs, leafy greens and banana groves. Everything we serve starts here.
