An experience at Ali's Acre
Warm herbal pouches and deep muscle relief, the Indian way.
Potli massage is an ancient Indian healing practice. Small cloth pouches are filled with a blend of therapeutic herbs, warmed to the perfect temperature, and pressed and rolled across the body. The heat opens the pores, the herbs penetrate deeply, and the rhythmic pressure melts away tension stored in the muscles.
You begin with a brief consultation to understand any aches or areas of concern. The therapist then works the warm potlis over your body in slow, deliberate strokes — back, shoulders, legs, and arms. The aroma of the herbs fills the space, and by the end most guests feel both deeply relaxed and noticeably looser.
Sessions last around 60 minutes and are available to overnight guests and day visitors by appointment. Wear something comfortable and allow yourself a quiet moment afterwards — a hammock, a cup of tea, and no rush to be anywhere.

Soak in a circular pit of mineral-rich bentonite clay, then dry off in the sun on a woven straw bed before your potli massage.

Our family of rabbits live in shaded hutches by the garden. Children (and grown-ups) are welcome to say hello.

Wander through raised beds of herbs, leafy greens and banana groves. Everything we serve starts here.
